Responsibilities:

  1. Community Engagement: Foster a sense of belonging and community among society members through regular communication, engagement activities, and initiatives.

  2. Event Planning and Management: Organize and coordinate various events, workshops, and seminars to promote learning, networking, and social interaction within the society.

  3. Membership Management: Manage membership registration, renewal, and database maintenance. Provide support and assistance to members as needed.

  4. Resource Allocation: Efficiently manage society resources, including budget, facilities, equipment, and materials, to support the achievement of society goals.

  5. Collaboration and Networking: Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, sponsors, and stakeholders to enhance the society's reach, influence, and impact.

  6. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to drive the growth, sustainability, and success of the society.

  7. Communication and Marketing: Create compelling content, newsletters, and promotional materials to communicate society activities, achievements, and opportunities effectively.

  8. Administration and Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and guidelines governing society operations. Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., community development, event management, business administration) preferred.

  • Proven experience in community engagement, event planning, or project management roles.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Strong leadership abilities with a collaborative and inclusive approach.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

  • Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements is desirable.
